Long before there was MAGA, Chinese students seeking to reform their Nation of China while honoring their inspiration, Hu Yaobang, assembled in Beijing. Beginning with 100 mourners, they grew to over 1,000,000 protesters against The Communist Party of China (CCP) seeking democratic reforms, freedom of speech and an end to corruption. Unfortunately, between April and May 1989, the People's Republic of China (PRC) announced martial law and violently brought to a close the protest ending the lives of between 2,000 to 20,000 protesters depending on whose report you believe. The most powerful image that came from the June Fourth Incident was the picture of a young protestor stood before a tank. It's the image of a man on desperate ground, willing to take on an immense power by a mortal only strengthened by virtue and principal, a man willing to surrender his being for the sake of the people of the state. In this one picture, a man was more powerful than the state. What was amazing is that the PRC had to call up military from outside of Beijing because those that had been called upon from Beijing were sympathetic to the protesters and were resistant to challenging the protesters. The PRC's strength was weakened by the righteous indignation of the people on desperate ground.
The President of the United States Donald Trump made a promise during his campaign for office that he would give back the city of Washington, DC to the Republic. That it would be safe and beautiful for any man, any race, any gender to enjoy. Democrats interpreted that to mean "Republican". During the campaign, the Left disavowed the assertion as mere campaign bluster. Since his victory over the "human word salad", Vice-President Kamala Harris, it became a vital power play. Literally, he began by taking their money through budget cuts. Then, he eradicated their overall hold on the government by setting a goal of firing 300,000 federal workers by the end of the first year of his presidency. Then, while his Congress is away for summer vacation, Trump rips the Nation's Capitol out of the hands of the Democrats proving he is only subject to the Constitution over the Home Rule Charter. His administration has found nearly 300 criminals, including illegal aliens, that Mayor Bowser and her 13 City Councilmembers were unwilling to seek out. Upon Texas redistricting, Democrats are on desperate ground. The Republic must realize that "the rat has been cornered by the cat". It's not pretty.
Sun Tzu's The Art of War, Chapter 11, refers to desperate ground, also known as death ground. It is the place where an army stands with only the option of fighting to the death. A situation whereby an army faces destruction and must fight as the only option one can take. I give you the post-Biden era Democrats. They are an army standing with their backs against the Potomac River. We must become blind to overconfidence and resolve to confront their attempts to arrest the hearts and minds of even the most hardcore MAGA. We must remember that facing annihilation, soldiers can summon courage and bravery to facedown the challenge and resolve to survive an expected loss.
The Democrats must first rally the troops for an unexpected victory. They are not sufficient in battle against such a ferocious foe. They face a group of warriors weaponized by reason that is so much stronger than their soldiers weaponized by heartfelt emotion. Worry not, the Democrats will not alter weaponry as that would lead to poorly armed soldiers and eventual abandonment. They must increase and rally the troops. The Manhattan Institute concludes, "that white progressives’ dominance over the Democratic Party agenda will alienate at least some socially conservative working-class nonwhites, thereby driving a small but electorally consequential subset of them into the arms of Republican Party candidates, if not into the party itself (https://manhattan.institute/article/the-rise-of-college-educated-democrats)." The Democrat Party's Rally begins with recruiting more soldiers for the defense against annihilation.
Don't smile just yet. You may be adding to their troops unwittingly. Your beloved made you exuberantly proud as they marched across the stage in May. You worked double shifts to afford your child's tuition, paid monthly, starting in July. Last week, having given up the summer vacation, you spent the weekend moving your child into a new dormitory and shopped all weekend at Walmart to fashion the new living space. The student enrolled at George Washington, American. Howard, Georgetown and other DC universities is more than likely recruited by a new professor to facedown an ICE officer or an armed National Guardsman for the sake of Home Rule. The legendary media and The Democrat Party recognize the new recruits are here and they are trying to provoke a new Tiananmen Square. They thank you for granting them well-resourced troops. The wolves smile as your lambs are harvested that they maintain control and power over the sheep. The Left and the legendary media are in a stage of provoking and recruiting and thank you for your expendable resource.
