MONDAY, CONGRESS MUST FIRE MAYOR BOWSER AND THE DC COUNCIL!
There is a message that Congress must deliver to the world on Monday: Enough!
Mayor Bowser, the DC Council and the Radical Left have sought to agitate, instigate, obfuscate and intimidate with their protestations the Gatekeepers of this Great Republic. Let us count up the costs of their due diligence: National Guard member Sarah Beckstrom died last week, and National Guard member Andrew Wolfe is still hospitalized.
But wait a minute, SickandShutIn, "Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said on NBC News’ “Meet the Press” Sunday that authorities believe the suspect in the National Guard shooting was radicalized in the U.S." and that "...the suspect, Rahmanullah Lakanwal, was “radicalized since he’s been here in this country." per NBC News! Noem said, "We do believe it was through connections in his home community and state, and we’re going to continue to talk to those who interacted with him" Isn't this just an overreaction by the Right Wing.
Are you finished with another fervent but feckless hurling a feeble defense of the Radical Left as partisanship and excuse disdainful and deceitful behavior as acceptable political cover?
We must ask, "Does rhetoric influence violence?"
If the answer is "yes" then, we must follow the rhetoric to it's source. I give you Mayor Bowser, the DC Council and the Radical Left.
What does AI say? "Yes, rhetoric can influence violence by stirring emotions, justifying aggression, and making violent acts seem more legitimate. Research shows that exposure to violent or dehumanizing language can increase violent attitudes, especially in those already predisposed to aggression. Political rhetoric, particularly when it creates an "us vs. them" mentality, is frequently cited as a contributing factor to real-world violence." And AI is biased to the Left.
What does Daniel Byman of the Brookings Institute have to say? "It is often difficult to trace one leader’s statement to subsequent events, and even in the case of the Capitol insurrection the president’s defenders insist on his innocence. However, a range of research suggests the incendiary rhetoric of political leaders can make political violence more likely, gives violence direction, complicates the law enforcement response, and increases fear in vulnerable communities." AI says "No fair!' Brookings is biased Left. "The Brookings Institution is officially nonpartisan and describes itself as independent. However, it is commonly perceived by media outlets and other observers as being centrist or center-left, leading some to describe it as "biased left". "
Radicalized people pick sites for violence based on a mix of ideology, psychological vulnerabilities, and the perceived practicality of the location. Dr. LAlanya Fair of the American Military University, in "Why Do People Become Radicalized and Commit Violent Acts?", writes:
"There are four commonly known stages of the radicalization process:
- Stage One: This stage happens when an individual is first exposed to internet material describing radical ideals from extremist groups. The person feels disconnected, alienated, or disenfranchised from mainstream society, so the extremist messages are compelling.
- Stage Two: In these early stages, repeated exposure to extremist material can lead the individual to adopt radical thoughts.
- Stage Three: This stage occurs when a person moves from expressing hate through speech or internet content to actively planning to commit a crime. This stage is known as the “acceptance of violence” stage, when the terrorist starts conducting research, chooses a location, and obtains weapons.
- Stage Four: Preparations for a violent act intensify, and the individual moves toward carrying out the organized crime."
Her research was 24 white supremacists and 8 Islamic terrorists.
We can thank Saul D. Alinsky, who was inspired by Satan to write "Rules for Radicals", for how extremists pick sites for violent acts. He wrote, "Lest we forget at least an over-the-shoulder acknowledgment to the very first radical: from all our legends, mythology, and history (and who is to know where mythology leaves off and history begins— or which is which), the first radical known to man who rebelled against the establishment and did it so effectively that he at least won his own kingdom — Lucifer." Those long years ago, he articulated, "RULE 12: Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.” "
Many will blame former President Joe Biden's migration policies for the terrorist event in DC on Thanksgiving Eve 2025. Biden expressed pride in welcoming Afghan migrants who aided U.S. efforts, referring to them as "brave Afghans" and telling the first group, "Welcome home". He emphasized a commitment to evacuate those at risk and highlighted the historical role of immigrants in strengthening the U.S. The United States Mission to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization quoted Biden as saying "We’re also going to continue to make sure that we take on the Afghan nationals who work side-by-side with U.S. forces, including interpreters and translators — since we’re no longer going to have military there after this; we’re not going to need them and they have no jobs — who are also going to be vital to our efforts so they — and they’ve been very vital — and so their families are not exposed to danger as well. We’ve already dramatically accelerated the procedure time for Special Immigrant Visas to bring them to the United States." In a Letter to the Editor of The New York Post, Ed Quinlan of New Hyde Park writes, "The targeted murder of a West Virginia National Guard member, and critical wounding of another, by a deranged and demented Afghan national is a vivid example of how much blood former President Joe Biden has on his hands (“He ‘Should have never been’ let in,” Nov. 28).
Thousands of deaths have resulted from him allowing unlimited numbers of criminals from countries all over the world to enter the United States." Indeed, Democrat Biden was an influence. If he brought them here, Mayor Bowser, the DC Council and the Radical Left helped radicalize Lakanwal.
Border Czar Tom Homan was on “Sunday Morning Futures” with guest host Jackie DeAngelis this weekend to discuss the tragic and deadly ambush that killed one National Guard member and left another in critical condition “Every one of these people are American patriots by the fact that they put themselves in harm’s way to protect people that they will never meet,” Homan explained.
Mayor Bowser, the DC Council and the Radical Left have long been at odds with President Donald Trump and the National Guard. It didn't help that one of her Democronies demanded a National Guard presence in DC. In August 2023, D.C. Councilmember Trayon White publicly demanded the deployment of the National Guard to address a surge in local crime, calling the situation a "warzone". WTOP reported, "While White favors bringing in the National Guard, he said dealing with the wave of violence that’s swept over the District since the start of the year would require even more than that." Bowser responded by saying she was happy to discuss the safety concerns with him but did not immediately commit to a specific request for the National Guard, though she had previously asked Congress for control over the DC National Guard in May 2023. This despite D.C.’s murder rate is around half of what it was in 1993. However, the 163 murders the city’s facing today is a significant increase from the number of murders seen this time last year, likely putting D.C. on track to see a third consecutive year of homicides above 200. White found himself in legal troubles with the Biden regime after that stunt.
Bowser, the DC Council and the Radical Left set an unwelcoming environment for the National Guard throughout her tenure. Bowser has stated that the National Guard should not be used for law enforcement, arguing it is not legal or efficient for policing Americans on American soil. She believes the military is not a substitute for police and that using it for this purpose is an "abuse of power" and "doesn't make sense," especially when law enforcement is already driving down crime statistics, reports NBC News. Instead, she insists the Guard should be used for "mission-specific items that benefit the nation". Bowser told the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee that President Trump’s deployment of the National Guard has not contributed to weeks of lower crime rates. “What has worked is not the National Guard in helping enhance MPD services. What has worked is more DEA [Drug Enforcement Administration], more FBI,” she told Rep. Scott Perry (R-Pa.), a retired Army National Guard brigadier general.
- The D.C. National Guard did not have the specific training or experience for the requested humanitarian assistance mission, which involved feeding, sanitation, and facility management.
- The use of the DCNG would negatively impact its overall readiness.
- The Pentagon determined that sufficient funding was available through FEMA grants for non-governmental organizations like SAMU First Response to provide the necessary services.
Bowser turned down the offer of the National Guard for January 6th because she wanted them to patrol without weapons and the Metropolitan Police Department alone could handle the event and protest. In a January 5, 2021 letter to Congressmen Jeffrey Rosen, Ryan McCarthy, and Chris Miller, she writes, "To be clear, the District of Columbia is not requesting other federal law enforcement personnel and discourage any additional without immediate notification to, and consideration with, MPD, if such plans are underway. The protection of persons and property is our utmost concern and responsibility. MPD is well trained and prepared to lead the law enforcement, coordination and response to allow for the peaceful demonstration of First Amendment rights in the District of Columbia." William Arkin, in Newsweek's "Underestimating the Threat, DC Mayor Muriel Bowser Ordered Up Unarmed Guards", writes, "Bowser sent a letter on New Year's Eve to Maj. Gen. William Walker, commanding general of the District of Columbia National Guard, requesting support on January 5 through 6. She said Guard personnel would support the MPD and the District Fire and Emergency Medical Services. "[N]o DCNG personnel shall be armed during this mission, and at no time, will DCNG personnel or assets be engaged in domestic surveillance, searches, or seizures of [U.S.] persons," she wrote." Arkin continues, "The reason for the limited request went back to June 1, 2020, when George Floyd protests reached their peak in the District, along with significant controversy about the role of the military. Former Attorney General Bill Barr characterized May 31 as "the most violent day of civil unrest in the District in 30 years." Arkin continues reporting on the incompetence, "A follow-up letter from Christopher Rodriguez, director of the District's Homeland Security and Emergency Management Agency, said that the DCNG's primary mission would be "crowd management and assistance with blocking vehicles at traffic posts [traffic control points or TCPs]." He specifically requested six National Guard crowd management teams at 30 TCPs and six specific Metro stations to prevent overcrowded platforms." But it's Trump's fault and MAGA is a mob!
In an interview with NBC4Washington, Bowser announced that she will not seek a fourth term as mayor of the nation’s capital.
Get rid of home rule and all of the illegals. Push through the Bowser Act. It’s time for Congress to Repeal DC Home Rule by passing the BOWSER Act, For the staff reliant, it's H.R.1089, introduced by Rep. Ogles, Andrew [R-TN-5]. It's short but sweet:"Effective on the date that is 1 year after the date of enactment of this Act, the District of Columbia Home Rule Act (Public Law 93–198; 87 Stat. 774) is repealed." It's been sitting on the Speaker's desk since February 2025. “The corruption, crime, and incompetence of the DC government has been an embarrassment to our nation’s capital for decades. It is long past time that Congress restored the honor and integrity of George Washington to the beautiful city which bears his name,” said Senator Mike Lee (R-UT).
